Easter egg craft

April 5, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

Since Easter is this weekend I figured I needed to make an Easter decoration. I’ve been wanting to make some crochet Easter Egg and I decided they could be the centerpiece for the table.

I used the crochet egg pattern from Lion Brand yarn and I got the idea to paint a pot with chalkboard paint (although since I had chalkboard spray paint I just ended up spraying the entire pot).

I gathered my pot, eggs, and some brown paper cut into strips for the nest. Put it all together and now I have a nice little centerpiece. Once the chalkboard paint is set I plan to write “Easter” on it.
