Bring Lavender’s calming scent to your bathroom with a DIY Lavender Wreath

Lavender Wreath DIY

Have you ever dreamed of walking through a field of lavender? I came close this spring as I walked near a garden of lavender when I visited Portland. Lavender’s calming scent has often been used in bedrooms and closets, but now you can make your bathroom a calming place with lavender!

Angel Soft® has always had the ideal balance of softness and strength, but now has the added benefit of a lavender scented tube. The lavender scent is added to the cardboard tube to give off a light, pleasant scent in the bathroom for you, your family, and guests.

With three boys I have always loved the Angel Soft® balance of softness, strength and value. Now I get the added value of the scented tube for my bathroom.

While I chose the lavender scent, the scented tubes also come in Angel Soft® with Fresh Linen Scented Tube, so you can enjoy the crisp scent of freshly laundered linens.

DIY Lavender Wreath

Want to heighten the lavender experience? Now that I you are enjoying the welcoming scent of fresh lavender fields every time you step into your bathroom, you . To heighten the experience I made a beautiful DIY faux lavender wreath to hang in my bathroom. Pairing the scent of lavender with the sight of lavender flowers.

Lavender Wreath DIY

Using two different types of lavender flowers for my wreath gave it a wider ranger of lavender hues and texture.

My first step was attaching the lavender garland to the grapevine wreath vase. I did that using green zip ties so they would blend in with the flowers. I tightened the zip ties and then snipped off the long ends.

Once the garland was attached I was ready to add on all the lavender stems. The bouquet of lavender stems was longer than I wanted to use so I used some wire cutters to trim them.

Then I used hot glue to add the lavender stems to the wreath. I put hot glue on the end of the stem and then pushed it into the wreath base to secure it.

My lavender wreath is ready to hang in the bathroom next to my Angel Soft® with Fresh Lavender Scented Tube.
