crochet pumpkins

November 1, 2012 by Julie Leave a Comment

I love that pumpkins work for Halloween all the way through Thanksgiving. For part of our decorations this year I made these.

The yarn is what I had left over after making these earbuds.

We all had fun trick-or-treating last night. You’ve seen Youngest Twin and Toddler in their costumes. Here is Oldest Twin as Finn from Adventure Time. He was so excited that lots of people knew who we were and gave him high-fives as we were trick-or-treating last night.

I hadn’t originally planned on dressing up to take the kids out, but then they were disappointed. So I found some cat ears and gave myself some whiskers and a kitty cat nose.

And now I can enjoy my pumpkins and look forward to making pumpkin pie and other Thanksgiving treats.

Cool pumpkins! I was the only one in my family this year who wasn’t dressed up. I just didn’t have time after helping everyone else (including Tyson) with their costumes. Maybe next year I’ll do something simple like that.
