November 1, 2019 by Julie 1 Comment

This post is in partnership with Cost Plus World Market. Get ready to shine this holiday season thanks to Cost Plus World Market and the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt! #worldmarkettribe #discoverworldmarket #goldenchristmascracker #ad
‘Tis the season for festive wreaths! See how I made this DIY Christmas Crackers Wreath

Christmas Crackers

It isn’t the holidays without a box, or several boxes of Christmas Crackers. Not only do we like to break them open at Christmas, but Littlest loves using them on New Years Eve. In fact, Christmas Crackers, “Crackers” are used as decorative party favors to celebrate a variety of other special occasions and festive events. The tradition of pulling the crackers and donning of the party hats has created a relaxed, festive atmosphere certain to get any party function off the ground, and Cost Plus World Market is known for having the largest collection of Christmas Crackers available during the holiday season.

Golden Christmas Crackers Scavenger Hunt

Golden Christmas Cracker World Market

This year there will be some extra special Christmas Crackers appearing at Cost Plus World Market. From November 1 – November 27 you can play the Golden Christmas Cracker Treasure Hunt where you could win up to $100 in rewards instantly! Every day your local Cost Plus World Market store will hide 8 Golden Christmas Crackers pieces throughout the store.  Their Golden Christmas Cracker not only consists of a $20, 50 or $100 reward, but once a winner pops open the Christmas Cracker, they will also receive a paper crown (tissue party hat), a motto (joke or riddle), a snap (friction activated popping device), and a small gift or novelty item.

Each day, I will share a daily clue on Facebook. Make sure you’re following me, use the clue to help you find a Golden Christmas Cracker piece, and you could receive a reward! There are two games each day, Game 1: Store Opening to 3pm and Game 2: 4pm to Store Closing. Today’s joke and clue are below.

Christmas Crackers

I like to stock up before the holidays start so I’ve already grabbed a few boxes of Christmas Crackers from my local Cost Plus World Market in Arlington.

DIY Christmas Cracker Wreath

You can’t help but smile when you see a pile of Christmas Crackers that you get to break open. This year I thought it would be really fun to give them to all our holiday guests that stop by. So I created a Christmas Cracker Wreath using an assortment of Christmas Crackers in different sizes. I’m also repurposing my Golden Jingle Bell Wreath that I made last year as the base for my wreath.

Christmas Crackers

I pulled off the jingle bells from last years wreath and just started with the yarn poms poms. From there I added my Christmas Crackers. Because I want to be able to easily take the Christmas Crackers off the wreath and give them to friends I tied on the Crackers with string.

Christmas Crackers

I started with the largest of my Crackers and added them all over the wreath. I moved on to the smaller Crackers and placed them on top of the larger ones. (The wreath base is wire which made tying everything on pretty easy.)

How fun is a Christmas Crackers wreath??

I love the look of your Christmas cracker wreath! My wife and I want to be as festive as possible this coming Christmas season, so we’re doing everything we can now to prepare for it. We’ll be sure to keep your designs in mind as we search for our own Christmas crackers to make our own wreath!
