Lucky Green Popcorn

March 12, 2014 by Julie 2 Comments

My kids love popcorn. Especially Littlest Brother. And his favorite color is green. So I'm pretty sure this Lucky Green Popcorn is his new favorite snack. Essentially two ingredients, popcorn and green melting chocolates. I put the popped popcorn into a large tupperware bowl and poured the melted chocolate over it. Then I shook the bowl until the popcorn was pretty evenly covered. I had less … [Read more...]

Sopapilla Cheesecake

February 24, 2014 by Julie 6 Comments

With less than an hour until they arrived I tore through my pantry in a panic, trying to see what ingredients I had on hand. I quickly realized I could make a Texas Sheet Cake in the time I had, but I only had dark chocolate cocoa and no regular … [Read more...]

Love Candy Canes

January 14, 2014 by Julie 6 Comments

I was at the grocery store last night and noticed this box of mini candy canes on clearance for 23 cents. I snatched them up, knowing exactly what I had planned for them. Candy cane hearts! I did mine in a couple steps. First, I spread the candy canes out on a foil lined baking sheet and baked them at 350 degrees for 3 minutes. I took them out of the oven and quickly moved the curved part of … [Read more...]
