bluebonnets

April 22, 2011 by Julie Leave a Comment

We have been having a great time with my sister this week. But one of the things we have been trying to to do all week has been taking bluebonnet pictures. Unfortunately it’s a little late for bluebonnet photos and most of the places I had heard were good are gone. We have been driving all over the area trying to find some. Today we finally found a little patch. (We wont mention what we had to do to get to this little patch…)

I’ve actually never done bluebonnet pictures with the kids (which is kind of a tradition here). But after all the effort of finding said bluebonnets I decided after Kara got some pictures taken to have us sit down and snap some pictures, too.

I love all my boys.

How fun. I did notice driving home from work last Friday that all of a sudden the mowers had done the sides of the highway and they pretty flowers were all gone. I wish they lasted longer.
