Finger Knitting

November 13, 2014 by Julie 5 Comments

It's no secret that I have a slight obsession with yarn. So for the letter K I thought the kids and I could try some finger knitting. First things first, we made some t-shirt yarn out of a couple worn out shirts. (You can see my t-shirt yarn tutorial HERE.) I practiced with Oldest Twin first, to show Littlest how it worked. Oldest Twin has done some finger knitting with me before and … [Read more...]

November 12, 2014 by Julie Leave a Comment

    Preschool humor is so much fun. Trying to learn the art of telling a joke. Even their cute fake laughing when they make up a joke to tell you. Littlest has become very interested in jokes lately. So for the letter J this week we worked on some jokes they he could tell and enjoy. These were some of our top choices. The twins helped find jokes for us, including the cheetah joke. Do … [Read more...]

DIME Handmade Harvest {recap}

November 4, 2014 by Julie 1 Comment

          Saturday was the DIME Store's annual Handmade Harvest event. A room full of some of the best handmade goods in the area. It's very hard not to buy all the things. My middle sister came and helped me set up/run my booth and spend the day with me. (Thank you!) And my parents came out to shop and feed me lunch. (Thank you thank you!) And now I'm almost … [Read more...]
