birthday cake

January 27, 2012 by Julie 9 Comments

When I got married my mother-in-law gave me a couple of recipes. One of them for the lasagna that we make for Christmas every year. Another one was for my husband’s birthday cake. It’s the recipe that I make for him every year.

Ingredients
Chocolate cake mix (including oil, eggs, etc)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tub of Cool Whip

Prepare a box of chocolate cake mix according to directions.
Grease and flour a cookie pan (15 x 10). Pour cake mix in and bake for 15-20 minutes.
When done, remove from over and poke holes all over with a fork. Pour 1 can of sweetened condensed milk over all of it. Let cool.
Frost with Cool Whip.
optional – grate a candy bar over the top or use chocolate sprinkles
