Extra Yarn is my new favorite children’s book. It’s beautiful and delightful. I got it as a birthday gift.
Littlest Brother has been a lot more affectionate in the evenings recently. Wanting to give lots of hugs and kisses. And needing lots of cuddles. He generally goes to bed with his big brothers. But once they start drifting off to sleep he comes to get me and wants us to cuddle in my bed. And his stuffed animals join us, too. Sometimes I read while we cuddle. The other night I watched Downton Abbey while he held on to my legs and fell asleep.
I know he won’t always want to cuddle so I’m enjoying our quiet moments together.

my 5 year old always has to get his crew of stuffed animals and cuddle up every night before bed on the couch or in bed. It’s such a sweet thing.
You should definitely read the book! And yay for little kids who still want to cuddle 🙂
