Sweet and Savory Cracker Stacks

April 4, 2016 by Julie

"Stack It Up" with RITZwiches. Try these savory and sweet stack ideas from Julie is Coco and Cocoa

While entertaining guests is great, you don’t need a fancy occasion to put together and great RITZwich. That’s a RITZ Cracker sandwich. I’ve got both a sweet and savory RITZwich recipe that Oldest Twin and I are enjoying snacking on. These are easy, everyday snacking solutions for any time of day. Need a lunch snack? Stack it up. An appetizer for dinner? Stack it up. Bonus: No cooking required.

First up is something a little sweet. I have to be honest, it took me a while to come around to some of the fruit salsa options I was seeing at the store. Mango Salsa? Somehow those two words didn’t seem to go together for me. Learn from my mistake and grab a jar the next time you’re at Albertson’s. This time I went with a Pineapple Peach Salsa. This RITZwich is a total of three ingredients: RITZ Crackers, cream cheese (softened), and the salsa.

All you have to do is stack up your ingredients.

Clearly, this looks impressive enough for guests. And it tastes impressive as well. But it’s THREE ingredients! Simple enough for snacking anytime.

My savory stack ups the ingredient list to a whopping four.

Here I’m stacking a RITZ Cracker, cucumber slice, cream cheese, and smoked salmon. I peeled my cucumber before slicing it as well.

You can sprinkle of some dried or fresh dill if you want, but it’s completely optional. I happened to have dried dill in my spice rack so I added a dash. I grabbed all of the other RITZwich ingredients at my Albertsons here in Fort Worth. (And they’ve got another great stack idea for you to try out as well!)

Life is about the moments we share with those who matter most. All I have to do is put out a plate with some crackers and my boys gather around. It’s amazing how a little snack will open them up to telling me about their day and how they’re doing.

With some RITZ Crackers and a few ingredients the possibilities are endless. How would you stack it up?

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Albertsons. The opinions and text are all mine.
