Good Luck Wreath

February 28, 2013 by Julie 16 Comments

I can’t believe that tomorrow is already March!

For my St. Patrick’s Day wreath I just had to change out a few things from my Valentine’s Day wreath. I left the white finger knit base, and just removed the hearts and ‘love’ banner.
Then I added these three crochet shamrocks.
For the banner I used some yellow canvas I had on hand. I wrote out my letters with a sharpie and then painted over with black craft paint.
The yellow fabric pieces are folded over the jute string and hot glued down

Then I tied the jute string to the wreath

Hoping March brings everyone lots of good luck!

CUTE! I would consider us lucky if winter would go away and true March weather showed up! At least it hasn’t been windy!

That’s a great decoration for St. Paddy’s day. We don’t do much decorating for this occasion over here in the UK, but it’s certainly an idea! Thanks for sharing. Dropping in via the Fluster Muster Party – isn’t it fun?

What a super fun wreath. Historically, I haven’t decorated much for St. Patty’s day and I am looking for inspiration. This is definitely on my list!

I’d love for you to share this at my March Madness Party. Happy Hump Day!
