Brownie Love Bites

January 17, 2013 by Julie Leave a Comment

The twins have to do some standardized testing at school today. I thought it would be nice to have a treat waiting for them when they get home today, so I’m making them brownie love bites!

I started by making some brownies (from a box). When they were done I took them out of the pan,  put them on a silicone cutting board, and used a cookie cutter to cut out some hearts.

I decided to add powdered sugar to some (about half) of them

And I put them on my cake stand (so I can keep them covered until the twins get home)

I even made a fun little X and O banner that I saw here

I can’t wait until the twins get home!

Oh, that’s adorable. My kids would LOVE this and we even have box-brownies all the time. But, hearts would be way cooler and more exciting. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

That is sweet, and hopeful (children knowing they’re loved… definitely hopeful). Memories in the making….
