Speckled Egg Welcome Wreath

April 9, 2013 by Julie 10 Comments

I love to do crafts on the cheap. Take objects I already have and turn them into something new. This craft perfectly fits that idea. Currently my Mom still has the pretty shabby chic wreath I made her for Valentine's Day hanging up (here). And while it still looks great I wanted to make her something a little more spring-y. She seemed to like the spring wreath I had made for myself (here) as … [Read more...]

Simple Spring Welcome Wreath

April 4, 2013 by Julie 4 Comments

The weather was beautiful for Easter this weekend. We got some rain on Friday night, but we were able to do all the activities that we wanted to. On Good Friday we spent the day at my in-laws. Every year Mother-in-law puts together a wonderful Easter activity. We dyed hard-boiled eggs, hunted plastic eggs full of candy, and had brunch complete with bunny shaped pancakes. Easter Sunday we … [Read more...]

Friday Favorites – Easter DIY

March 29, 2013 by Julie 1 Comment

As an Etsy shop owner I love promoting handmade businesses. Every Friday I share some of my favorite handmade finds of the week.  It's Easter weekend! Are you ready? I think I am. We're doing an Easter egg hunt with my husband's family tomorrow and then one with mine on Sunday.  I'm in love with this bunny hat. But I don't think any of my boys would wear one. If you're a crocheter … [Read more...]
