Top O’ The Hill Terrace
Where did gamblers go before Vegas? Turns out the answer is Arlington, Texas. In the 1920’s Top O’ Hill Terrace was a restaurant and tea garden, that also just happened to house a casino, a brother, an escape tunnel, and a secret room for hiding gambling paraphernalia. You can tour the site, now owned by the Arlington Baptist University, and see many of its original structures.

Featuring interactive exhibits, the museum offers an in-depth view of American history as well as the American Presidency. In addition to the museum itself, don’t forget to visit the grounds around the museum. The 15-acre Native Texas Park is open year round and is a chance to explore native Texas environments such as Blackland Prairie, Post Oak Savannah, and Cross Timbers Forest.
Star in Frisco
