Simple Spring Welcome Wreath

April 4, 2013 by Julie 4 Comments

I had intended to show you the project I am making for my Mom today. But it's not done yet. So instead you get to see the easiest turn-around for my wreath so far. To recap, I have used the same white finger knit base to make a Love wreath (here), changed it to a Good Luck wreath (here), and then changed it again to an Easter wreath (here). Easter Sunday we … [Read more...]

We're doing an Easter egg hunt with my husband's family tomorrow and then one with mine on Sunday.  I'm in love with this bunny hat. But I don't think any of my boys would wear one. If you're a crocheter … [Read more...]

Car Hat

March 28, 2013 by Julie Leave a Comment

Last week I had a customer contact me wanting a custom hat for his three year old son. He told me that his son likes the color blue and cars, but really left the rest up to me. (Exciting! And a little scary.)This is what I came up with. A knit blue hat, with a lime green car.The car is done in duplicate stitch.I was excited to practice this technique. And I was really with how it all turned out. … [Read more...]
