It’s easy to decorate for the holidays with cranberries! Use them to make this Mini Cranberry Wreath

As the holiday season arrives, fresh cranberries become one of my favorite decorating staples. Beyond their culinary uses, these vibrant berries are incredibly versatile for both decorating and entertaining throughout the entire season. I love finding natural elements that can carry through from Thanksgiving all the way to New Year’s.

Pairing fresh cranberries with fragrant rosemary and thyme creates the most beautiful mini wreaths that will elevate any holiday gathering. These charming decorations work perfectly as place settings, napkin rings, or even looped around bottles and candles for a festive centerpiece at Christmas dinners, holiday parties, or cozy winter get-togethers.

Mini Cranberry Wreath Supplies:

  • Fresh cranberries
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Fresh thyme sprigs
  • Floral wire
  • Pliers
  • Wire cutters

How to Make: Mini Cranberry Wreath

I love making several different variations of these wreaths to add visual interest to the table. Thread the wire through the cranberries, leaving varying spaces between them for different looks. Then wrap the wire around your rosemary and thyme sprigs, adjusting the amount of herbs and cranberries to create unique wreaths.

For a full cranberry wreath, thread about 10 cranberries onto your wire and twist the ends together to form a circle. Use another piece of wire to attach a couple sprigs of herbs to the top for a finishing touch.

The natural red and green colors of cranberries and herbs create an instant holiday palette that needs no additional embellishment. Plus, the fresh herbs release a wonderful scent that adds to the ambiance of your gathering.

A Festive Holiday Drink

No holiday celebration is complete without a special beverage! This simple cranberry drink is both beautiful and delicious.

Cranberry Vanilla Sparkler

Ingredients:

  • Cola or diet cola
  • Cranberry cocktail juice
  • 2 to 3 drops imitation vanilla flavoring

Directions:

  • Fill a glass ¾ of the way with your favorite cola
  • Add 2 to 3 drops of imitation vanilla flavoring
  • Top with cranberry juice
  • Stir well and serve over ice

The combination of cranberry and vanilla with the fizz of cola creates a festive drink that guests of all ages will enjoy throughout the holiday season.

These simple cranberry decorations and drinks will make your holiday gatherings feel extra special without requiring hours of preparation. The mini wreaths can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator to keep the cranberries and herbs fresh, making your party prep even easier. Whether you’re hosting Christmas dinner, a New Year’s Eve party, or any seasonal celebration, these natural decorations bring beauty and festive cheer to your table.

Happy celebrating!
