new chairs

January 28, 2013 by Julie 3 Comments

Littlest Brother is a cute, but effective, destroyer. He climbs all over furniture and pushes it around so he can climb to reach other things. Sometimes the furniture doesn’t stand a chance. Which resulted in a trip to Ikea this weekend to get a couple new things.

First, Littlest Brother needed a new chair for the kitchen table. His old chair got knocked over a few too many times while he pushed it around the house. This one is plastic. And it’s green so it matches the kitchen.

We also got a new chair for the family room. The twins both really like it. Here’s Youngest Twin playing on the Kindle, while Littlest Brother looks on.

We also snagged some pillows on sale to replace some of the ones on the couch that have been used for fort building a few too many times.

But even with the broken furniture, I’m thankful for my house full of boys.

Our youngest son (2) does the same thing with his chair. He’s constantly lugging and pushing it around the house to get on top of things, especially reaching things on the kitchen counter! He’s our third, and our other two never did this! I’m ready to throw the chair out lol 😉
