Here are my trays
It didn’t shrink as much as I was hoping, but it was thin enough that I could still cut through it. So I cut out my shapes and punched holes in them after melting.
I used the new wooden skewers for the base, tied together with cotton string
Then I started adding my shapes. First the circles and then the long strips.
Until my mobile was complete. Ta-da!
To see what other people came up with check out the Etsy Fort Worth blog. (Plus they will be announcing their February craft challenge soon!)
A bonus idea for those who don’t want to melt down their trays. My creative mother-in-law uses sushi roll trays to hold her chocolate dipped pretzels. Here are some of the ones she made at Christmas!
