Hosting a watch party or other get-together? Why not serve breakfast! Wow your guests and their taste buds with a Loaded Potato Breakfast Bar
If you’ve never thought of breakfast food as part of your game day menu, I gotta tell you, you’re missing out! Of course this breakfast bar would work just as well for lunch or dinner.
Growing up my Mom would make a potato skillet meal for breakfast. This would have potatoes, breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, onions, and peppers all cooked together. I’ve got a new twist on her recipe that is perfect for game day entertaining. See how easy it is to put together this Loaded Potato Breakfast Bar. Step number one is to pick up the McCain® Fries and all the other loaded potato breakfast bar ingredients at Walmart.
The base for your loaded potato breakfast bar is an assortment of McCain Potato Shapes and Fries. McCain products are made with real potatoes, which makes them perfect for pairing with your game day spread. I picked up McCain® Smiles® Mashed Potato Shapes, McCain® Craft Beer Battered Thin Cut Fries, and McCain® Extra Crispy Crinkle Fries to create a platter of potato choices.
Of course a loaded potato breakfast needs lots of toppings. I cooked up some breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, and sauteed onions and bell peppers.
Start with your choice of Potato Shapes or Fries and then build your breakfast! I also added some shredded cheddar cheese. The best part of a breakfast bar is that guests can customize their loaded potato breakfast exactly how they want it. For a little fun I topped mine with the Smiles® Mashed Potato Shapes!
